The 2025 Freeze Your Bippie Off Balloon Meet took place over two days in February. Balloonists and friends gathered at Post Mills Airport for a potluck dinner on Friday evening and kicked off the event with a bonfire. Saturday presented two flying opportunities for five participating balloons. The morning was overcast, with a few light snow flurries. Balloons floated out to Lake Fairlee, landing and packing up on the ice. Afternoon activities included taking out the (un)patented Boland La-Z-Ski for some fun on the runway and storytelling around the bonfire until gusty winds died down enough for another beautiful flight before sunset.
