The 2024 EBAA Meet occurred on May 17-19 at Post Mills Airport. A large, anti-cyclone system affected weather throughout the weekend, bringing solid cloud cover and prevailing winds to the northwest. The traditionally calm Post Mills surface winds held on throughout the weekend, giving participants 3 flight opportunities, including an extended window Sunday morning. A number of participants chose to inflate in the evenings to show off their unique designs including Fred Barnes with his homebuilt burner system and Paul Stumpf inflating his original 1975 homebuilt. The star of the show was the debut of Jason Fischer’s “Chromania,” a Padelt designed system hand tie-dyed by Jason over the last few years. Thank you to all of the attendees for making the journey to Post Mills and sharing the joy of Experimental Hot Air Ballooning.
